Ha'gel uses Agt. Ronald Sandoval's body to charm Beckett into a successful joining...and loses his life to the skrill of Marlene Dalton, Royal Canadian Mounted Police, second grade, known as 'Marley' to her friends. He succeeds in leaving 'Marley' in critical condition and she has to be taken by 'Juliette Street' and Lieutinant Robert 'Bob' Morovsky to Bethesda Naval Hospital. Captain William Boone rushes off to find Sandoval, who emerges from the pod naked and freezing. Boone gives Sandoval his trench coat and and the two go to Sandoval's apartment via Boone's car. Will 'Marley' come out of her coma? What will 'Street' and Bob find out about eachother after having been thrown together to carry out this task?
Meanwhile a baby boy named Liam is delivered via c-section as Lieutinant Siobhan Beckett lies unconscious in the lair. Liam hyperages and a Liberation cell leader named Col. Liam Kincaid gives up his identity after giving Liam the rank of Major and calls him his cousin. His new identity is Col Zeke Kincaid. Renee Palmer, a junior executive at Doors International and 'Street' who have only seen Liam as an adult are instantly attracted to him. Which one will win his heart and which will be crushed by her crush?
Sandoval gives Boone a 'burn' or disposable global with encrypted text in two foreign languages, Tagalog and Vietnamese, for Sandoval's origins. He then has a conversation with Reginald 'Reg' Sandoval, his twin and ceo of SanCorp, a biotechnical firm via his television, which is global capable. 'Reg's' voice is disguised and his face is in shadow. After talking to Reg and making his decision to join the Liberation and stand by his brother's side as he should have done a long time ago, Sandoval decides to pack his things and lock up his apartment. Boone picks up 'Reg' along with three of his cell members and canned sodas and some sort of vegan fruit drink in a bottle from Safeway and speeds off to the Lair. What will Sandoval reveal?
Humorous things happen as Boone, Sandoval and Liam speed off to the Watergate Hotel and return Beckett to her hotel room. She comes to and discovers a letter written by Sandoval stating he is resigning from the Companion Protector Corps and is going away with an old friend named Secret Agent Rosemary Feldman for awhile to clear his head. He mentions nothing about his new loyalties or the Ha'Gel incident, which is a source of embarrassment for him. Beckett, deciding the Liberation is holding him prisoner, throws the global against the wall and decides that she will get Sandoval back and go after her professional rival, 'Marley' and her personal one, Rosemary. Will Beckett succeed and how will she react when she discovers her delusions about Sandoval are false? Will she find out Liam is her child?
Boone, Liam and Sandoval drive to Deirdre 'Dee-dee' Sandoval's safehouse where Sandoval tells Dee-dee that whatever she is planning is unnecessary. He will sign the papers and pay out the nose to get rid of her. She's surprised but she has the presence of mind to ask Boone why he told Sandoval where she was. Boone answers that he wishes for the two of them to talk. She says she has just one question...why is Sandoval giving up so easily? Rosemary barges in and tells Dee-dee that she's the reason he's giving up. She puts her arm around Sandoval and says that they wish to get married and Dee-dee had better not ask for a thing. Will Sandoval and Rosie live happily ever after or will Beckett spoil their plans?
