Part One: Discovery. The Season 4 Atavus, I will call them the Forebears here, gained the ability to travel within their own solar system (We call it Tau Ceti and we will see why the Jaridians had to stay there later on). The man who was emperor then was nice and amicable and wanted exploration. The first Astronauts of the Forebear race sought out their neighboring planet as their destination and it would take them a year to get there, a few months to interact, and then a year to get home. The neighboring planet was inhabited by what we know as Season 5 Atavus. Most of them were friendly but a few of them were breaking from society (that will be explained in Part Two), not knowing the path they were taking could lead to death. The explorers went back home to find a coup had taken place and a cruel Emperor who only wanted riches and power had overthrown the other one. The explorers were killed and soldiers led by Overlords invaded the Atavus homeworld...much much later on, Moa'an got what we call 'drafted' and had to go over there. He decided to help the Atavus get free so that no one else on either side had to die...
Part two: Moa'an and the Atavan royals...(the nice ones from the homeworld I mean.)
Moa'an went to talk to the Atavan royal family, which was under house arrest in their palace and they told him to talk to the two Princes, Skranlyn, or "Skrann", the older, wiser and peaceful brother and Howlyn, the younger, scheming and charismatic brother...he would turn to darkness later on.
Moa'an, Moa'an's sister Jov'an'ara (Males get two parts to their names in Forebear society and females get three parts), other Forebear rebels and Skrann killed overlords. The Group was horrified and Moa'an was sickened to find that Howlyn had returned to animal ways of killing, using his cleaves to kill the Overlords by sucking their energy out and had influenced several young men and women (who would grow up to be Gren, Juda, Jaylis (who would later turn on Howlyn because of an argument) and N'heema, for example). Howlyn had also married a woman who did not want to marry him. Her name was Yutara and they had one son...Yulyn. Yulyn got older and Yutara got close to Skrann...they were only friends though, it never got romantic.
Eventually all the overlords had been killed and Moa'an went back home. The Forebear soldiers, who were bitter, disillusioned and suffering PTSD, went home and didn't find much there. The Atavus decided to put their destroyed lives back together again with a ruined planet...some of the greedier Forebear soldiers stole most of their technology from the Atavus...including several ships and one which would become the Taelon mothership.
(I got this from the fact that the Atavus starship and the Taelon mothership read as being similar to me...too similar to be a coincidence. Tribune left people free to read between the lines of their lose ends...as long as Tribune gets credit in the process.)...
Part Three: The Great Split and Atavan Space Exploration:
Moa'an and his sister and friends returned home to find the new government was ran by a cleric named Ra'maz. He was originally one of the soldiers who ended up completely cuckoo on the Atavan homeworld. He tried to take Jov'an'ara as his eternal bride when he had his followers inject themselves with a virus that he claimed would make them better, stronger and live Forever...all it did was split one species into two though. Ra'Maz was going to kill Moa'an but Jov'an'ara sacrificed herself for her brother. Moa'an stole a Kurara class Long-Distance shuttle and decided to head off to explore the galaxy.
Skrain and Howlyn's parents knew they had to give the crown and the medallian to one of the boys but they didn't like to show favoritism so they challenged the two men to share a starship and form a colony. The one that tightbeam-messenged them back that their colony was successful would earn the rights to the crown and the medallian. Neither would claim it...Yulyn would return and accept both symbols of power on behalf of both brothers later on but that is Millions of Years in the future.
Howlyn and his followers started colonies throughout the world. Unknown to Howlyn, Skrain sent spies to watch over Yutara and Yulyn. Howlyn and his followers fed off the indigenous aliens on the new world...Earth. Some believe the indigenous aliens they fed off of later became humans. Yutara decided to trick Howlyn and rid herself of him at the same time...she injected herself with a wasting disease and decided to let Howlyn think she was starving herself to death. Skrain, meanwhile catalogued every living thing on Earth and made friends with some of our smarter ancestors. To make a long story short, the meteor shower hit. Howlyn's group went underground in stasis chambers and Skrain used portals to evacuate his colonists to Mars...You know what happened to Howlyn next, that's what the fifth Season of EFC was about but perhaps we will meet Skrainn and all his people in the RP...and learn a lesson about how all beings are different and a lesson in tolerance.
